Help Homeless Pets

Help Homeless Pets

Your mission: Support an animal organization that helps homeless pets. Choose from helping animals get adopted, setting up a collection of shelter supplies, or holding a fund-raiser.

Why? It takes time, energy, and money to care for homeless pets. There are kennels to clean, bowls to fill, nails to clip, coats to brush, toys to toss, and vets to visit. Now imagine working at an animal shelter, grooming, exercising, feeding, and finding homes for dozens of dogs and cats. Get the picture?

How? If you already know of a shelter or other animal organization you want to help, great! If not, log on to www.petfinder.com or www.pets911.com to find one near you. Once you've picked one, call and introduce yourself. Explain that you’re working on a project and ask the best way to help. Then pick one project from the three options below.

Option #1: Help Animals Find Homes—And Stay There!

Option #2: Set Up a Shelter Collection

Option #3: Hold a Fund-Raiser
